| Biography
Kathy Crabbe is a Southern California/Canadian artist born
in 1965. Her love of painting mermaids and fairies stems from her
lifelong study of the female figure and the deep satisfaction and
gratitude she feels for her time spent living on a lake, by the
ocean and in the country amongst ancient oaks nestled in an elfin
forest.
She credits artists and writers: Mayumi Oda, Edward Gorey, Margaret
Atwood and the Celts for their continual inspiration as well as
her pets, family and friends (especially James the Elf) for their
support. |
